Evening All
Well firstly a BIG welcome to our new member to Ramsbottom Model Railway Club, he called Reece Hunt and as tonight has showed he isnt afraid to get stuck into any job.
Also i would like to say hello to Mark Harrison who popped in to say hello and even managed to run a few trains round which prooves that he still remembers how to
, Mark use to be a member in 1997 when me and Alex were still in high school with him.
Right well lets tell you what we did tonight.
Dan - Started the night off by fitting the new transformer under the board and splitting the existing tag board that powers Harrison street and mills 5-10 as to not blow this one
After a series of tests it showed that no problems had occured...thank god lol
Next on the list was to drill the hole, mount and fit the wires for Rogers wooden office that he had made weeks ago, This lit up nicely and looks realy good.
Alan had requested that mill 9/10 have lights installed inside them, so 3 grain of wheat bulbs followed by some solder and one left of cat and there you have some lights
.
The Toilet and front door also received a coat of Holly Green gloss, may need a second coat but we will see on Thursday.
Reece - Started off the night with a Pot Noodle to gain his energy for the up coming night.
Firstly armed with a small paint brush and an empty pot noodle pot with magnolia he started painting any bits of green that had spilled onto the wall from last weeks glossing. Then did the same but for the pale green, The difference can be seen
He has also prepped the next wall for painting.
Roger - He has glued his wood store down into place, also his wood office both in harrison street as also been glued down.
He also decided to try and make a bar like the sort you see in a pub to go onto the back of a wagon 00gauge bar though.
Alan - He has made all 4 walls for mill 8 and covered them in brick paper. He has also covered up my wiring in mill 9/10 with "floor boards".
Pictures of tonight can be found here
Well thats all for now see you all on Thursday.
Dan
