Hello and welcome to RMRC
Here is Thursdays report for the evening.
Roger - Carried on rubbing down the area for the 4th set of houses on harrison street and then plastered the area giving a final finish which looks smooth and level.
Dan - Started to give the toilet door a second coat of green gloss which hopefully should be dry by next week. The front door is going to require being rubbed down and then reglossed as it doesnt seem to of taken very well. Finally i started to make repairs to the wall opposite the toilet wall which has settlement cracks. for now we have used some decoraters caulk to see it this can be a quick fi as this wall is massive and would take weeks to dry if plastered. The overall result looks alright and should be ready for painting/plastering in certain areas.
Reece - Started to sand down the area that had been poly filled last week by alex, once this had been finished he decided to give the general place a clean with the hoover. All the carpets now look better. Alex even taught his how to run trains around the layout.
Keith - continued on making his little office for harrison street industrial yard. he also assisted alex in some track work as a train derailed near to the wagon works. the joint in the track work has dipped and will need packing just like the real thing
Alan - has seen more progress being made on mill 8 with all 4 sides of the mill being brought together and tested placed in where it should go. This mill will be the final mill which shuld seen harrison street and Kenyon street finished in terms of mills. The next project should be the soap/chemical works.
Pictures will be added on Monday.
Cheers Dan
Alex - Has been showing Reece how to drive/control a train on the layout. He and reece also found some more faults but after non runnning for a couple of months i guess it could be expected. Also helped reece to clean the track.
